## About the Role

* Deep Firebase expertise (Firestore, Cloud Run, Auth, Security Rules), having built production systems, not just prototypes
 * Demonstrable experience of building and deploying complex AI applications using LLMs and ideally, agentic workflows
 * A familiarity with vector databases (pgvector, ChromaDB, Pinecone or similar) is a plus

## Description

Building on Firebase, using Claude API and leading LLMs, the AI Software Engineer will build the end-to-end architecture, security, performance and integration. Working closely with the Head of Product, the AI Software Engineer will take well-defined specs and prototypes (Replit) and turn them into production-quality code. As the company grows, the AI Software Engineer will start building the engineering function - hiring, structuring, mentoring. The expectation is that the AI Software Engineer will grow into the CTO role as the team and product scales.
