Master's degree is a plus. * IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA Security, GSEC). * Preferred: Advanced certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, CEH, other GIAC certifications. Technical Skills: * Experience with network defense technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection). * Proficient in network protocol analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump) and SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Kibana). * Experience in vulnerability scanning, incident response, and threat hunting. * Familiarity with Linux-based server and user environments, including troubleshooting and security configurations. * Familiarity with DoD cyber security frameworks (e.g., RMF, NIST 800-53) and system defense-in-depth architectures. Knowledge: * In-depth understanding of network security, adversary techniques, and incident response strategies. * Proficiency with Ethernet, TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SSL/TLS, SMB, RDP protocols. * Knowledge of virtualization technologies and secure system design. * Familiarity with AI/ML and Cloud technologies.
