## About the Role

Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. In the alternative, position requires seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Position also requires four (4) years of experience in each of the following:

 * API management tools;

 * Integration Solution designing for Aetna enterprise architecture;

 * Requirements gathering for new features/epics added to Aetna architecture;

 * Identify process gaps and propose alternatives in the project architecture using IIB design techniques as Aggregation's fan-in and fan-out;

 * Publish/Subscribe mechanisms over MQ protocol and Workload Management techniques;

 * IIB and APIC skills on patters and design techniques to convert into Solution designs; and

 * SAFE (Scaled Agile Framework) model, track delivery efforts and maintain the status of project deliverables in Rally.

Position Summary: Aetna Resources LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Staff Software Development Engineer to design and develop software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions. Duties include: analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements; determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation; upgrade existing software applications and/or systems to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability; write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing; develop and deploy application components and support unit testing and bug fixes; participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and/or CI/CD; support applications, systems, and databases used to process prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities; and collaborate with cross-functional teams on applications development, technical
