The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategizing, developing, architecting, and implementing data architecture and data solutions to support use/analysis of CISA mission data. As a lead with seasoned experience in this domain, the Data Architect will be expected to paint a vision, while merging technical, business, and customer needs into achievable objectives, and supporting architecture and data solution design decisions to meet those objectives. Strong candidates will have a record of understanding cyber data to support Cyber Operations, experience working across an ecosystem of data capabilities, leveraging innovation, building consensus, executing on their vision, and continually adapting to meet the evolving landscape., * Ability to successfully maintain a DHS Entry on Duty (EOD)/DHS Suitability * Minimum 5-7+ years of hands-on experience architecting, designing, data engineering with Databricks, Elastic, and AWS in a government setting, Cyber Data experience preferred. * Relevant Databricks experience related to well-architected Lakehouse, Medallion Architecture, Data & AI Governance, Use Case Acceleration * Demonstrated hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Native data and ETL capabilities (S3, Redshift, Glue, etc.) * Demonstrated experience leveraging data to provide search, enrichment, correlation, AI/ML Model Training, in alignment with government mission and business use cases * Knowledge of streaming data technologies such as Kafka, Kinesis, Firehose, or Apache Spark Structured Streaming * Prior consulting or customer-facing experience in data architecture or modernization initiatives. * Experience in Agile environments and managing cross-functional technical delivery.
