The Everforth ECS Team provides focused Agile software development and maintenance for CODIS, a mission-critical application for the FBI. CODIS supports a database repository of DNA profiles from individuals, unsolved crime scene evidence, and missing persons. CODIS software allows local, state, and national laboratories to compare DNA profiles electronically, thereby linking serial crimes to each other and identifying suspects by matching DNA profiles from crime scenes to individuals' profiles. Responsibilities: * Work on a highly complex/high profile project * Provide CODIS expertise through frequent communication and collaboration with software development teams, PMO and stakeholders * Work with stakeholders to prioritize development * Act as liaison between the development team and client to articulate methods to implement business needs within cloud architecture * Develop and document requirements based on an expert understanding of the CODIS system and user requirements * Work with the Business Analysts, Developers and Test Engineers to decompose user stories that can be implemented in 2-week sprints * Continuously monitor and review requirements and backlogs, and provide recommendations or opportunities for improvements in clarity, consistency and accuracy * Provide mentorship and training to Business Analysts * Review user stories and bugs for development teams * Review and update documentation, as needed ## Related Videos - [Grappling With Clunky Old Software?
