You qualify at the GS-14 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level performing duties such as: * Applying new information technology security developments to ensure current guidelines are updated accurately. * Applying project management principles and methods to gain an overview knowledge of future IT enterprise infrastructure. * Processing engineering concepts to comply with organizational standards. * Leading implementation activities. * Assessing new systems design methodologies to improve software quality. You will not be considered for the position if you score below the cut score or fail to complete the assessment. ## Description As an Information Technology Specialist (InfoSec), at the full performance level, you will perform the following duties: * Implement higher-level security requirements such as those relating from laws, regulations, and presidential directives. * Integrate security programs across disciplines. * Develop long-range plans for IT security systems that anticipates, identify, evaluate, mitigate, and minimize risks associated with IT systems vulnerabilities. * Resolve integration issues related to the implementation of new systems with the existing infrastructure. * Review proposed new systems, networks, and networks software designs for potential security risks.
