Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical or Computer Engineering; or Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related discipline and five (5) years of relevant professional experience demonstrating advanced expertise in the field Experience in teaching embedded systems and computer engineering courses. Expertise in teaching introductory or graduate classes. Experience mentoring students. ## Description Stony Brook University's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applicants for a non-tenure track teaching faculty position with an expected start date of Fall 2026. The selected candidate will hold the official title of Lecturer with a business title of assistant professor of practice contingent upon qualifications. The selected candidate would be expected to teach four(4) classes in the fall semester and four (4) in the spring semester.
