## Description

Hands On Software Engineering Managers/Tech leads - C#/.NET/AZURE - Data & Performance
This is a hands-on technical leadership role with a strong focus on data architecture, application performance, and platform scalability.You'll lead a small senior engineering team, combining technical delivery with people leadership (around 75% technical / 25% line management).Your focus will be on enabling the platform to scale intelligently - supporting reporting, APIs, AI/LLM usage, and real-time customer insight.
What You'll Do Lead and support a newly forming team focused on data architecture and application optimisation Drive structural change within a large, established codebase to support scale Influence architecture, design, and technology decisions across the platform Partner closely with Product, Engineering Managers, and SRE leadership Translate strategic scaling goals into clear, deliverable roadmap initiatives Contribute to engineering-wide OKRs and technical direction Champion a culture of learning, collaboration, and thoughtful technical challenge Remain technically hands-on, solving complex backend and data-driven problems
