## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience
 * 10+ years of experience in systems integration, test, and verification of complex embedded systems
 * Strong systems mindset with hands-on experience in:
*

 + Embedded Linux systems with Digital Signal Processing and high-speed networking
 + Scripting (e.g., Python, PERL, similar)
 + Test automation and data analysis (e.g., MatLab)
 + Debugging at hardware and software boundaries (e.g., GDB, Wireshark, etc.)
 * Experience leading system-level integration across hardware and software
 * Experience leveraging modern developer productivity tools (e.g., AI-assisted coding, test generation, data analysis, or debugging workflows
 * Experience defining verification strategies and test architectures for production systems
 * Exemplary technical communication skills demonstrated from internal and external customer engagements
 * Ability to travel up to 50%

DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE(Looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills)

 * Experience with radar, RF sensing, signal processing, or advanced sensor systems
 * Background in defense, aerospace, or safety-critical systems
 * Familiarity with environmental, EMI/EMC, or system qualification testing
 * Experience supporting customer acceptance or operational testing

## Description

Echodyne is seeking a Principal Systems Integration and Test Engineer to serve as the technical leader for system-level integration, test, and verification of advanced radar products.

This role is ideal for a software-minded systems engineer who thrives at the intersection of embedded software, hardware, and real-world system performance.

You will own the end-to-end system verification strategy, lead complex integration efforts, and be the technical authority ensuring radar systems meet performance, reliability, and customer requirements across development, qualification, and production.
RESPONSIBILITIES

 * Serve as the technical lead for system integration, test, and verification of radar products, including system bring-up, debugging, and performance
 * Work with internal operations and customer-facing teams on rapid issue resolution
 * Define and own the system-level verification strategy, requirements coverage, execution traceability, and verification reporting
 * Architect scalable test frameworks, automation, and tooling to enable repeatable, verification-first system testing
 * Identify integration risks early and drive mitigation strategies
 * Support regulatory and compliance testing
