OTHER REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Secret security clearance. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Supports E-OMS operational objectives. Observes company Quality, Safety, Environmental, Security and Administrative policies; supports Process Improvement. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work activities are normally performed in an environmentally controlled area in an office setting on Eglin AFB. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This position will be subject to substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Must be able to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal. May require sitting for long periods of time. Some lifting of up to 50 pounds, standing, bending, stooping, and climbing may be required. Must have ability to work in confined spaces and outside in the elements., Applicants must currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Security clearance eligibility may be discussed during the interview phase. Employment and start date are contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearance. ## Description ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: This exempt position will report to the Engineering Section Manager. This position supervises E-OMS drafting employees. Will perform oversight of day to day activities/personnel involved with drafting support. Must be familiar with architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, civil, and piping design as well as conventional drafting practices. Must have a good understanding of scaling and mathematical computations. Must have knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) principles. AutoCAD or similar CAD program experience required. A basic understanding of machine shops and fabrication techniques is preferred. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
