The Security Architect will be expected to study the organization's existing systems architecture and recommend and designs security solutions to improve them in an effort to ensure the organization's security posture and functionality will operation more efficiently. The systems security architect will be expected to develop ways to add new security functionality to current systems, and support the installation and configuration of new hardware and software. The security architect will regularly test new systems to ensure that they work as expected, and communicate with engineers and application developers to ensure the compatibility of security requirement, configurations, and components. The systems security architect will assist the program staff and technical director with identifying the requirements, dependencies, constraints, and direction needed to design, deploy, or migrate security capabilities to a variety of cloud infrastructures. The security architect will host and support regular meetings and correspondence with teammates and customers to gain a better understanding of security requirements.
