The domains within this department include: * Systems Engineering and Configuration/Data Management (CM/DM) * Specialty Engineering (Safety, reliability, cost, Supportability, Integrated Logistics Support) * Software development and testing * System Test Planning and Execution * Flight Science and Integration (GNC, Aero, HWIL/PIL, Modeling & Simulation) * Prototype Development Center (PDC) build and test laboratory operation/execution The person in this role is accountable for the SEIT aspects of our product in development, staff planning, and the overhead costs of the department. The Director of SEIT is responsible for enabling product development through efficient processes, domain technical expertise, timely decision making, personnel development, knowledge transfer to sustain needed expertise, effective resource management and embracing a continuous improvement philosophy.
