 * 5+ years of demonstrated experience with:

 + COTS border and coastal surveillance technologies
 + RF communications and wireless communication networks and equipment
 + Planning and performing systems engineering analysis related to border and coastal surveillance, telecommunications (e.g. microwave) networks, including familiarity with network planning software tools
 * Willing to travel out of the country for several weeks at a time to austere locations (e.g. Africa, Eastern Europe, Asia) (20% travel)

## Description

* Conducting site surveys and evaluating requirements and determining optimal system architecture
 * Conducting AoAs and developing recommendations on use of specific technologies and OEM equipment
 * Detailed design to include aspects such as viewshed analysis, network mapping, frequency spectrum allocation, EMI, CONOPs, etc.
 * Developing CDRL documentation to include architecture documentation, site surveys reports, CDR packages, and Test Plans and Reports
 * Testing and troubleshooting systems
 * Developing training materials to support training of end users (e.g. host nation military)
 * Guidance to engineering staff on Operations and Maintenance of operational systems
 * Collaborating with software and platform engineers in the development of C2 systems
