Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations. * Degree of Supervision: Minimal ## Description As a Desktop Supp Analyst at Galen College of Nursing, you will provide world-class intermediate technical assistance and support to Galen College of Nursing end users. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of technical support, Active Directory, Windows device management, Mac and iOS support, and network printer management. This candidate will also be responsible for inventory management and hardware recycling., 1. First-line resolution: Identify and diagnose user issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and peripherals. 2. Application support: Assist users with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting common applications (e.g., Office suite, email client, antivirus, collaboration tools). 3. User account management: Create, manage, and disable user accounts in Active Directory, ensuring adherence to company security policies 4. Password resets: Assist users with password resets and account lockouts, maintaining a secure password reset process. 5. New user setup: Configure new employee devices with necessary software, accounts, and security settings. 6. Image deployment: Maintain and deploy standardized system images for consistent configuration across devices. 7. Troubleshoot common issues with macOS and iOS devices, including connectivity, software, and hardware problems. 8. Assist users with basic Mac and iOS configurations and settings. 9. Set up new network printers and configure user access permissions. 10. Troubleshoot printing issues, such as paper jams, connectivity problems, and driver conflicts. 11. Maintain accurate records of all IT hardware and peripherals. 12. Track device lifecycles and schedule replacements. 13. Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned. 14.
