This role focuses on ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of wired network services while providing advanced troubleshooting and operational support for complex network environments., Network Administration and Support - Administer and support enterprise campus network infrastructure including LAN, WLAN, WAN, and internet connectivity. - Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routes, switches. - Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity using enterprise network management tools. - Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, patching, and configuration changes to network equipment. - Maintain network documentation, diagrams, inventories, and standard operating procedures. Cisco Infrastructure Management - Support Cisco Catalyst switching platforms and Cisco routing technologies. - Configure and maintain VLANs, trunking, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), EtherChannel, HSRP, and routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP. - Support Cisco security technologies including firewalls, VPNs, and access control lists (ACLs). Advanced Troubleshooting - Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex network issues impacting connectivity, performance, voice, video services. - Perform packet captures, protocol analysis, and root cause investigations using tools such as Wireshark and Cisco diagnostic utilities. - Analyze network logs, system alerts, and performance metrics to identify and resolve recurring issues. - Escalate and coordinate problem resolution with vendors, service providers, and internal technical teams when necessary. - Lead incident response efforts for major network outages and service disruptions.
