Prior field experience as a technician is strongly preferred. * Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with electronic security systems such as access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection is preferred. Basic understanding of system integration and networked systems is a plus. * Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. * Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams. Physical Demands & Work Environment: * Ability to travel to project sites and support field operations as needed * Overnight travel may be required based on project scope * Ability to work in construction and secure environments * May require walking job sites, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs * Exposure to varying indoor and outdoor conditions General Requirements for All Levels: * Communication: Strong oral and written skills to interact with peers, supervisors, and clients. * Analytical Skills: Detail-oriented, capable of diagnosing and solving problems. * Screening Requirements: Candidates must pass a background check, have a valid driver's license, and be eligible for U.S. Government Security Clearance. ## Description The Project Engineer plays a key role in supporting the successful delivery of security system projects from kickoff through completion. This position bridges field operations and project management, ensuring technical execution aligns with design requirements, project schedules, and client expectations. The Project Engineer works closely with project managers, field technicians, and clients to coordinate activities, resolve technical challenges, and maintain project momentum.
