Desired Qualifications: Agile Framework Integration: Prior experience working closely alongside back-end developers and scrum masters within a fast-paced Agile Scrum environment. Federal UI/UX Mandates: Understanding of standard federal technology constraints, responsive framework deployment pipelines, and accessible interface design structures. ## Description User-Centric Design Execution: Create compelling and satisfying application interface designs by applying recognized usability heuristics, prioritizing consistency, error prevention, feedback transparency, and minimalist aesthetics. Wireframing & Prototyping: Develop detailed front-end user interface mockups, wireframes, site themes, and reusable layout templates within Adobe XD prior to active software development phases. Persona & Workflow Mapping: Utilize findings from user research and functional workflow analyses to align interface designs with defined target roles, personas, and distinct real-world usage contexts. Architectural Collaboration: Partner directly with system and solution architects to break down business requirements into front-end mockups that are both highly functional and aesthetically pleasing. Usability Testing & Tracking: Execute frequent, lightweight usability testing methods alongside users or operational proxies to expose design friction early, tracking and rectifying issues within a structured Usability Findings Log. Feedback Validation: Validate ongoing front-end builds through continuous feedback loops with the Product Owner and system stakeholders, evaluating task success rates and experience metrics. Accessibility Compliance: Design interface elements that conform entirely with Section 508 accessibility standards, actively reinforcing keyboard navigation capabilities, screen reader compatibility, and contrast requirements.
