Preferred Experience and Qualifications * Five (5) years' experience in technology roles. * Experience maintaining a public profile and building relationships throughout the organization. * Experience in writing software in one or more languages such as Java, Shell, Go and/or JavaScript. * Experience architecting, developing software, or internet scale production-grade Big Data solutions in virtualized environments such as Amazon Web Services, Azure and Google Cloud Platform. * Experience using Big Data Ingestion products such as BigQuery, DataFlow, Apache Beam, Pub/Sub. Crewmember Expectations * Regular attendance and punctuality. * Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice. * Able to maintain a professional appearance. * When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft. * The use of artificial inteliigence during the interview process will disqualify a candidate from being considered for the position. Equipment * Computer and other office equipment. ## Description The Engineer, Data reports directly to the Associate Head of Data Engineering and is responsible for developing and supporting the data management and analytics platforms, including data infrastructure, to support the evolution of travel products. The Engineer, Data is focused on the design and development of data ingestion, processing and storage pipelines, as well as the transformation of raw data into business insights that enable Paisly to become a digital disruptor. This role leans heavily on engineering but also collaborates heavily with Paisly's matrix partners and external business partners. The ideal candidate can change priorities and focus to meet business demands, excels when working on complex projects, and is engaged in significant collaboration with stakeholders.
