Preferred Qualifications * Experience using CATIA V5 Composite Part Design / CPD. * Experience with Fibersim. * Experience with graphite epoxy composite structures. * Experience with aluminum honeycomb core construction. * Experience with autoclave-cured aerospace components. * Experience creating Mylars, shop aids, or composite manufacturing documentation. * Background supporting space, drone, defense, military aircraft, rotorcraft, or advanced aerospace structures. * Prior experience with large composite parts, structural assemblies, nacelles, interiors, thrust reversers, UAV structures, or launch vehicle components. ## Description A leading aerospace manufacturer is seeking an experienced CATIA V5 Composite Design Engineer to support advanced aerospace, space, and unmanned aircraft programs. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on composite design professional with experience developing ply definitions, flat patterns, ply splices, and manufacturing-ready composite design deliverables for large aerospace structures. This role will support urgent program needs involving large graphite epoxy composite structures, aluminum honeycomb core construction, and autoclave-cured aerospace components. The ideal candidate will have direct experience working in CATIA V5 and supporting composite part design, composite ply definition, and manufacturing release activities. This is a highly technical, hands-on design role. The selected engineer will own assigned design scope, create composite layup and ply design outputs, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure parts are producible, accurate, and ready for release.
