The elements of a background include: financial credit check, criminal history of applicant and applicant's immediate family or roommates, personal references, employment and education verifications (which includes official transcript(s)), drug screen and fingerprinting. This information will be utilized to make the final hiring decision. ## Description Under the direct supervision of the CJIS Manager I, this position is responsible for conducting research of criminal justice information to ensure all information received or disseminated is compliant with state and federal requirements. This position is also responsible for monitoring the Computerized Criminal History (CCH) workflow and processing tasks within defined timeframes as well as providing quality service to local, state, and federal agencies and the general public.
