This entry-level position focuses on the setup, deployment, and basic maintenance of CEIA OPENGATE and PMD (Walk-Through Metal Detector) systems, primarily used for securing high-traffic venues such as sports events, concerts, festivals, and conventions. This is a remote position event-based and scheduled according to operational demand. Technicians serve as GXC's frontline technical ambassadors, ensuring mission readiness, equipment integrity, and client satisfaction in both dynamic and demanding operational environments., * Assist in staging, deploying, and repacking CEIA OPENGATE and PMD systems at designated screening locations under the direction of senior staff or event leads. * Prepare batteries, power up units, and verify proper operation of detectors prior to gate opening. Replace or recharge batteries during events as needed. * GXC staff assist events based on specific client needs, ensure equipment functions properly, support gate operations, and provide guidance without assuming liability for event decisions. * Maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with venue staff, guests, and team members. * Communicate clearly and report any issues promptly to the Technical Operations Manager or designated lead. * Clean, repack, and inventory detectors and associated gear. Assist in following the post-event inventory and wrap-up SOP, ensuring all units are accounted for.
