## About the Role

* Working knowledge of SQL Server administration (T-SQL, indexing, execution plans, performance metrics).
 * Experience with SQL Server tools: SSMS, SQL Server Agent, Profiler/Extended Events, monitoring dashboards.
 * Practical experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022).
 * Knowledge of IIS configuration, application pools, bindings, SSL certificates.
 * Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing basics).
 * Experience with Azure DevOps: build pipelines, release pipelines, artifact management. Experience with Web Applications

Desirable Skills

 * Programming skills (preferable c#)
 * Knowledge about .net Entity Framework
 * Experience with Azure services (VMs, storage, SQL in Azure).
 * Knowledge of containerization (Docker).
 * Familiarity with monitoring platforms (Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor, ELK, SCOM).
 * Understanding of HA/DR concepts (Failover Cluster, AlwaysOn basics).

## Description

The role combines design, implementation and optimization of the product database with administration tasks over product installations. The position supports SQL Server environments, Windows-based infrastructure components and CI/CD processes used for application deployments., * Design database architecture for new implementations.

 * Perform operational database administration for SQL Server instances (installation, configuration, patching, maintenance).
 * Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks and perform basic tuning (indexes, queries, resource usage).
 * Execute and verify backup/restore procedures, manage DB security, permissions and access control.
 * Support Windows Server environments, including configuration of IIS, DNS, networking protocols and system-level services.
 * Maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (builds, releases, deployment pipelines).
 * Handle incident resolution for database and Windows-related issues, including root-cause analysis.
 * Maintain documentation for configurations, runbooks and operational procedures.
