## About the Role

* Completed technical education (HTL, FH, TU) in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, or related fields
 * At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Aviation industry
 * Proficient in CATIA V5/3DEXPERIENCE
 * Knowledge in mechanical component design and construction methodology
 * Knowledge of FEM analysis and interpretation of results
 * Experience in performing FEM analysis using 3DEXPERIENCE or similar software
 * Solid understanding of engine mechanics and thermodynamics
 * Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
 * Strong self-motivation, resilience, reliability, and precision
 * Ideally, experience in the aerospace industry (Part 21, CS-E)
 * Willingness to learn and the ability to work independently as well as in a team after appropriate onboarding

## Description

* Development of engine components and parts for combustion engines
 * Design and detailed construction of complex components according to applicable standards
 * Selection of suitable manufacturing processes based on production volumes
 * Analysis of engine components from test and customer engines
 * Direct collaboration with external development partners
 * Documentation of component development and preparation of verification reports for component and engine certification
 * Support in component procurement and supplier coordination
 * Performing basic FEM analyses of components using 3DEXPERIENCE and interpreting the results
 * Organizing and interpreting external FEM analyses
