* Strong SQL and data transformation experience (eg dbt or similar)
 * Proven experience building analytics layers/semantic models
 * Solid understanding of data modelling principles
 * Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure/Fabric preferred)
 * Strong Power BI or equivalent BI tooling
 * Experience working with stakeholders in a delivery-focused environment

Desirable:

 * Python or other Scripting languages
 * Experience leading or mentoring teams
 * Exposure to modern data stack tooling

## Description

* Design and build scalable data models for analytics (eg star schema)
 * Develop and maintain data pipelines/transformations
 * Define and implement data standards, quality, and governance
 * Enable self-service analytics through well-structured datasets
 * Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions
 * Lead best practice across modelling, documentation, and performance
 * Support and mentor analysts/engineers within the team
