## About the Role

+ Proven experience in a Systems Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer position.
 + Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts including firewalls, load balancers, DMZs and micro-segmentation.
 + Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
 + Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
 + Experience supporting Windows, Linux and VMware environments.
 + Knowledge of OpenShift is desirable.
 + Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work across multiple technical disciplines.
 + Excellent communication skills and experience working with global teams., This is a remote position supporting teams across Europe, so candidates must be able to work standard GMT/CET business hours. The client is open to applications from across Europe and India.

## Description

+ Deploy and configure enterprise systems across complex infrastructure environments.
 + Work closely with Project Managers and technical teams to design and implement the most effective infrastructure solutions.
 + Provide technical support and troubleshoot infrastructure and systems-related issues.
 + Configure and maintain networking technologies including firewalls, load balancers, micro-segmentation and DMZ environments.
 + Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using scripting tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
 + Support containerised environments using Kubernetes, with exposure to OpenShift being beneficial.
 + Manage Windows and Linux server environments.
 + Administer and support VMware virtualisation platforms.
 + Ensure infrastructure aligns with cybersecurity best practices and security requirements.
