Essential Skills & Experience

 * Strong experience across Microsoft BI tools and technologies, including:
 + Microsoft Fabric
 + Data Lakes (BYDL 2.0)
 + Azure Synapse
 + Azure Data Factory
 + DevOps (data pipelines)
 + Microsoft Purview
 + CDM Utility
 + Event Grid
 + Serverless and Dedicated SQL Pools
 + Power BI (admin, apps, pipelines)
 * Excellent communication skills, able to engage with stakeholders at all levels
 * Experience creating and managing high-quality functional documentation
 * Business analysis capability with a focus on knowledge retention
 * Ability to work with third-party providers and implement technical changes

Desirable:

 * Knowledge of Dynamics 365 (Finance, Project Operations, Sales, Customer Insights)
 * ITIL Foundation qualification

## Description

As a Data Engineer, you will support the ongoing development of our BI Hub and data infrastructure, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation. You'll collaborate with Application Owners and stakeholders to design, build, and maintain robust data models and pipelines that power high-quality Power BI reporting., * Support the development and continuous improvement of the BI Hub and enterprise data infrastructure

 * Contribute to requirements gathering, problem solving, data modelling, design, testing, and end-user support
 * Design, build, and maintain:
 + Data models
 + Data pipelines
 + Data integration and processing solutions
 * Enable Application Owners to create impactful Power BI reports
 * Work across the Microsoft Azure cloud platform to deliver scalable solutions
 * Provide clear user guidance and ensure a positive support experience
 * Maintain high-quality documentation and support knowledge sharing within the team
