## About the Role

* Proven 0 1 technical leadership building data-intensive systems and shipping products in early-stage environments.
 * Strong systems thinking across software + data + operations; ability to scale reliability without linear headcount growth.
 * Comfortable reasoning about robotics/physical AI data ecosystems (multimodal logs, synchronization, metadata, dataset integrity).
 * Excellent judgment around tradeoffs, technical strategy, and team-building.
 * Strong written and verbal communication; able to lead a remote/hybrid team effectively.

Nice to have

 * Experience with robotics ML / physical AI workflows and evaluation (VLAs/VLMs, imitation learning, sim-to-real).
 * Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 or similar robotics data ecosystems.
 * Experience with enterprise customers and technical solutioning.

Working style & expectations

 * Remote/hybrid leadership with high ownership and high communication expectations.
 * Willingness to engage deeply across functions; the role is hands-on in early stages.
