## About the Role

* Commercial experience delivering Machine Learning solutions into production
 * Strong Python software engineering skills
 * Experience with modern ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
 * Experience building production LLM, RAG or agentic AI applications
 * Strong understanding of MLOps, CI/CD and cloud deployment
 * Experience working across the full ML lifecycle rather than pure research
 * Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach

Nice to have

 * Edge AI or embedded ML deployment (Jetson, Raspberry Pi, ARM or similar)
 * Computer Vision
 * Databricks, Spark, MLflow
 * Docker, Kubernetes and AWS
 * Experience working in defence, aerospace, robotics, autonomous systems or other safety-critical environments
 * Current SC or DV clearance (although candidates eligible for SC are encouraged to apply)

## Description

* Designing, building and deploying production Machine Learning solutions from concept to release
 * Owning the full ML lifecycle including data engineering, model development, evaluation, deployment and monitoring
 * Developing modern AI systems using LLMs, RAG and agentic workflows where appropriate
 * Deploying AI onto edge and embedded platforms alongside cloud infrastructure
 * Building scalable MLOps pipelines including CI/CD, model versioning, automated evaluation and monitoring
 * Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges
 * Providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers and driving engineering best practice
