## About the Role

Salary: £70k-100k basic + bonus + benefits Key skills & experience sought: Proven DevOps leadership experience, managing a team, setting high standards and driving growth Proven experience in a DevOps/SRE or similar role, preferably in a software development or SaaS environment, with experience in FinTech or Energy Trading (ETRM) or related Advanced knowledge of Azure Cloud and Containerisation technologies Strong proficiency in Automation Scripting Experience working with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or equivalent products.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a focus on driving solutions in a timely manner. Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Relevant certifications such as Azure certifications, DevOps certifications, or industry-specific certifications are advantageous. Key responsibilities will include: Decide on the right tech stack, tools and plan to reach the DevOps vision Lead and mentor the team of DevOps engineers. You will provide guidance, support, and foster a collaborative and high-performance culture to ensure the successful execution of DevOps initiatives. With the team, using agile methodologies: Manage and optimize the production, QA, and development environments to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of our software products. Design and implement robust monitoring systems that proactively identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and system failures. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, to streamline deployment processes and improve operational efficiency.
