Basic Qualifications - Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems - Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations - Experience of writing clean, optimized and scalable code using C or Rust - Several years of experience working in the kernel or virtualization space, & using the typical Linux command line toolbox - Understanding of operating systems internals Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent - Proficient in at least one CPU architecture such as x86 or ARM Amazon is an equal opportunities
