## About the Role

U.S. Citizenship is Required. Ability to qualify for a US Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance required. Candidate must be SAP and SCI program eligible., * Ph.D. or M.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or a related field with a focus on computational modeling

 * 3 or more years of relevant technical experience (thesis work included)
 * Fundamental understanding of fluid dynamics and numerical methods for ODEs and PDEs
 * Strong proficiency in Python or MATLAB for simulation automation and data analysis
 * Ability to work independently and collaboratively

## Description

Toyon is seeking a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analyst to join a team in modeling reentry and hypersonic bodies. This position requires a strong background in fluid dynamics and numerical methods. The CFD Analyst will be responsible for providing high-quality analysis to inform important customer decisions., * Use commercial and Toyon developed CFD codes to build grids, perform simulations, and analyze results

 * Develop and automate analysis workflows using Python to enhance efficiency and accuracy
 * Compile and present analysis results
 * Work in a collaborative environment to improve modeling capabilities
