## Description

This role focuses will focus on processing incoming payments, maintaining accurate account records, preparing journal entries, and supporting reporting and reconciliation activities. The position also handles credit card processing, refunds, lockbox activity, and daily cash operations, along with assisting on special projects as needed., * Record and reconcile daily lockbox and mailed deposits.

 * Apply payments accurately to customer or account records.
 * Research and resolve payment-related inquiries and discrepancies.
 * Process credit card transactions, including payments and refunds.
 * Maintain schedules for recurring credit card payments.
 * Prepare and reconcile daily reports of online payment activity.
 * Create and post journal entries related to payment transactions.
 * Perform account adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy.
 * Prepare routine financial reports, including weekly collections reporting.
 * Complete account reconciliations and assist with month-end processes.
 * Upload and manage data imports into internal systems.
 * Maintain organized records and documentation.
 * Communicate professionally with internal teams on a regular basis.
 * Support additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
