Testing & Compliance * Oversee product validation, safety, performance, and compliance testing (e.g., electrical safety, photometric testing). * Work with third-party labs and internal teams to ensure products meet industry standards and certification requirements (UL, DLC, etc.). * Analyze test data and iterate designs to resolve issues and improve performance. Prototyping & Iteration * Lead rapid prototyping cycles, coordinate prototype builds, and hands-on evaluation. * Drive design iterations based on test results, field feedback, and engineering reviews. * Document design changes and maintain engineering revision control throughout development. Cross-Functional Coordination * Partner closely with cross-functional teams - industrial design, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and marketing - to align requirements and schedules. * Prepare engineering input for product roadmaps, cost targets, and production readiness reviews. * Provide technical support to marketing for product collateral (spec sheets, manuals, presentations) and customer questions.
