## About the Role

 * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
 * Minimum of 4 years of experience in software development, systems analysis, application testing, or related technical disciplines
 * Strong understanding of software development methodologies, system integration, and quality assurance practices
 * Experience working within enterprise technology environments, including distributed or legacy systems
 * Proficiency in troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem resolution
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
 * Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting project deadlines in a fast-paced environment
 * Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and quality
 * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams

Preferred Skills/Experience of the Developer III:

 * Experience with Java development using modern JDK versions
 * Familiarity with JSON, XML, and RESTful web services
 * Experience with front-end and back-end web technologies
 * Knowledge of MongoDB or other NoSQL database technologies
 * Experience with Quarkus, containerized applications, or cloud-native development
 * Exposure to Agile software development methodologies
 * Experience supporting enterprise-scale or customer-facing applications
 * Experience with application upgrades, deployments, and modernization initiatives

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Developer III for a hybrid opportunity for candidates in Columbia, SC. Candidate will support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications in a collaborative and fast-paced technical environment. This role involves contributing to full lifecycle software development efforts, supporting modernization initiatives, and delivering scalable technical solutions aligned with business objectives., * Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain enterprise applications and system integrations

 * Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver scalable application solutions
 * Prepare technical specifications, workflows, and supporting system documentation
 * Support application deployments, upgrades, and production issue resolution
 * Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders across multiple concurrent projects
 * Evaluate system enhancements, troubleshoot application issues, and recommend technical improvements
