Candidates who receive a conditional offer of employment must be fingerprinted and will have their fingerprints used to check the Criminal History Records of the State of Arizona Department of Public Safety and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Any records returned will be reviewed to determine the candidate's suitability for the job. For information regarding pre-screening and driving positions ## Description The Phoenix Municipal Court is the State's largest limited jurisdiction court and is among the top ten busiest municipal courts in the United States. The Court handles cases that range from minor traffic violations to Class 1 misdemeanors carrying a maximum penalty of six months in jail and a $2,500 fine. Annually, the court processes approximately 160,000 charges. The available assignment is in the User Technology Support (UTS) Unit. The UTS Unit is responsible for the Court's desktop and windows server infrastructure. The scope of this responsibility includes over 400 desktop computers, 70 Windows servers, and numerous critical Windows based applications including OnBase, FTR digital audio courtroom recordings, and the Q-Matic customer queuing system. To operate efficiently, the majority of this environment is virtualized on a 4-host VMware cluster. This configuration brings the benefit of a significant reduction in operating costs associated with the Court's Windows servers but carries an added layer of administrative responsibility and associated skills. UTS Unit responsibilities include: * Local Area Network (LAN) Administration. * VMware Virtual Server Administration. * Windows Server Administration. * BCDR (Veeam). * Windows Workstation Administration. * Network/Local Printer Administration. * Courtroom FTR Gold Digital Audio Recordings Administration. * Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager. * Q-Matic Customer Queuing System Administration. * 24x7 Support (Lead and Senior rotate after hours support). * Shared Administration with Systems Administration (SA) Section. * IT asset management and lifecycle management. * Procurement.
