## About the Role

* 5+ years of IT experience working on real-life, consumer facing products and services
 * Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and relevant frameworks, React preferred
 * Experience with CSS, CSS pre-processors (SCSS/LESS), and/or CSS-in-JS (Styled Components)
 * Experience using modern JavaScript/TypeScript build and packaging systems
 * Experience with Node and relevant frameworks, NestJS and/or Express preferred
 * Familiarity with serverless technology like AWS Lambda or other cloud offerings
 * Experience with both functional and object-oriented programming patterns
 * Knowledge of both relational and non-relational database systems and their tradeoffs in practice
 * Excellent team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
 * Bachelor's degree in computer science/related fields or relevant industry experience

Extra Ingredients for Success:

 * Experience with Component Libraries like MUI
 * Experience with React-Native and/or mobile development
 * Knowledge of analytics databases and data pipelines (OLAP, ETLs)
 * Experience with data visualization, preferably in React (Recharts, D3, Victory, etc.
