Description

SAIC is seeking a NAVWAR Engineer with experience in systems engineering to join the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Team in El Segundo, California.

PNT SE&I provides engineering, integration, technical analysis, and subject matter expertise (SME) support to the US Space Force. As a member of our PNT SE&I Team, you'll work in a fast-paced environment with Government personnel and systems engineers to provide NAVWAR-Crypto systems engineering expertise. Major duties of this position include:

 * Support of GPS enterprise integrated system testing
 * Support of GPS enterprise requirements, capabilities, architectures, concepts, designs, and technologies development
 * Software implementation of Y-code and M-code cryptographic algorithms
 * Validation of National Security Agency (NSA) operational key material
 * Provide guidance and technical support for Crypto Management and NAVWAR
 * Collaborate with the government team, other program government leads, external organizations, and prime contractors
 * Actively participate as a Subject Matter Expert in the GPS requirements process

Qualifications

 * Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science, or Science with 5+ years of overall experience
 * Active Secret clearance
 * GPS experience
 * Demonstrated experience developing and evaluating software
