Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity or equivalent (Computer Science and Engineering would be considered an equivalent degree) * Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III Certification within 6 months of hire date Bonus points if you have: * 15+ years relevant experience in information assurance/ cybersecurity accreditation * Master's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent (Computer Science and Engineering would be considered an equivalent degree) * CISM Certificate * CISSP Certificate * DoD/DoN procedures and Policies for Information Assurance Accreditation, electronics, robotics, computer programming/software engineer, * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent (Computer Science and Engineering would be considered an equivalent degree) ## Description Cydecor is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to provide support to a Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) customer. There are several openings spanning junior to senior positions. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in helping us develop cloud-based security architectures for some of the most critical systems in the DoD. You will assess and implement requirements that ensure the safety of information systems and protect them against intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. You will develop innovative solutions to complex cyber risk problems, manage evaluation and accreditation of client systems, and apply technical solutions working in cloud environments. You will coordinate and work with various teams to identify the right mix of tools and techniques to translate your customer's IT needs and future goals into a plan that will enable secure and effective solutions. We need someone who can investigate new techniques, break free from the legacy model, and go where the industry is going. Your technical expertise will be vital as you help customers overcome their most difficult challenges by integrating secure practices like risk management frameworks and developing software and hardware solutions on a variety of technological platforms. Experience decomposing high-level operational requirements into functional definitions, verification objectives, and full system specifications, and identifying and enabling critical technologies, constraints, and risks is essential. You should have experience with Authority to Operate (ATO) and DoD Cloud SRG requirements, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), Nessus and ACAS Vulnerability scans, and ATO and IATT package requirements.
