Must have a thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Familiarity with and knowledge of computers, i.e., CNExT, spreadsheet and word processing programs. A knowledge of general principles of statistical computation is mandatory., Must be a Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) or CTR eligible. If CTR eligible, employee must pass the CTR exam within 6 months of employment., Completion of an approved Cancer Registry training program. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital-based American College of Surgeons (ACoS) approved cancer program. Prior experience in publishing an annual report. Proven track record with a successful ACoS approved program. ## Description Responsible for all cancer-related data collection systems, for reportable cases. Ensures that all State of California and American College of Surgeons (ACoS) guidelines are met.
