* Proven professional software development experience using Clojure

As a Senior Software Engineer at Litera, you will play a key role in advancing the technology behind Kira, one of our flagship products used by legal professionals worldwide. This role is critical to delivering scalable, high-performing SaaS solutions that improve user experience, reliability, and platform innovation across a complex modern tech stack. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product teams to shape the future of our platform while driving technical excellence and continuous improvement. Your work will directly influence product stability, system performance, and the speed at which we deliver value to customers., * Design and deliver scalable, user-focused features across backend services, APIs, and frontend applications

 * Drive improvements to platform performance, reliability, and maintainability across a complex SaaS environment
 * Partner with cross-functional teams to translate product goals into technical solutions that support long-term growth
 * Lead technical problem-solving efforts, proactively identifying and resolving product-level issues
 * Contribute reusable, high-quality code that accelerates future development and platform consistency
 * Influence architectural decisions that strengthen scalability, security, and system robustness
 * Support a collaborative engineering culture through mentorship, code reviews, and process improvements
 * Help evolve engineering best practices that enable teams to deliver efficiently and continuously improve
