Requires a Bachelors of Science in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent job experience. 2. Provide leadership and help develop technology strategies and align with district strategy. 3. Must have good presentation and communication skills, as well as the ability to influence and lead multiple types of people in a varied environment. Must be team-oriented and professional and be able to perform under limited supervision. 4. Experience with security assessment tools, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing. 5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail. 6. Knowledge of network management and troubleshooting, knowledge of Cisco, Avaya, Extreme and HP routers and switches. 7. Knowledge in Internet Technologies, especially managing Internet servers including Web Servers, DNS, MS Exchange Email, Office 365, etc. 8. Ability to research and implement technological advances in the industry for the betterment of the district. 9. Knowledge of maintaining and securing various operating systems including Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Server, Mac OS, Linux, IOS, Android, ChromeOS. 10. Experience with installing and maintaining security platforms within networking equipment such as Firewalls, Routers, Anti-malware agents, and security logging/tracing. 11. Adept in implementing network security principles and use of common diagnostic tools like NMAP, Procmon and packet tracing. 12. Understanding of common end-user attack vectors for credential theft, malware delivery, wire fraud, etc. and handling and identifying exploitation techniques. 13. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, and AWS, preferred. 14. Knowledge of VMWare Hypervisor operating environments preferred. 15. Knowledge of Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, Checkpoint and similar appliances preferred. 16. Able to plan and implement large scale software rollouts with minimum impact on support staff. 17. Able to interface with multiple vendors and support personnel, assist field support and helpdesk staff with advanced troubleshooting issues. 18. Create, maintain, follow and improve audit procedures and protocols. 19. Assist in the creating and implementation of district Information Technology Policies. 20. Five (5) years experience in working with students and educational staff in the field of educational technology (OPTIONAL). 21. Hold and maintain a valid driver's license with no serious violations. 22. Have excellent integrity and demonstrate good moral character and initiative. 23. Exhibit a personality that demonstrates interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents and the community. 24.
