## About the Role

* US Citizen required
 * Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
 * Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related STEM field.
 * 0-5 years of experience in an engineering field.
 * Familiarity with MS Office products
 * Detail oriented and able to work with others to get information
 * Good verbal and written communication skills
 * Basic CAD understanding and usage, * Active SECRET security clearance.
 * Experience in programming in Access VBA and Excel Macros.
 * Able to work projects and complete on time with minimal oversite from manager and leads
 * Experience with mass properties in a school or work project, including concepts of mass, weight, center of gravity, moments of inertia, products of inertia, and what causes those to change.

## Description

* Develop and maintain Mass Properties Models for launch vehicles and subsystems.
 * Perform weight and balance analysis, including estimating and optimizing mass properties for launch systems.
 * Establish design target weights and track compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
 * Maintain mass properties accounting systems and provide trend analysis for program leadership.
 * Support proposal evaluations, design reviews, and operational documentation.
 * Conduct component weighing and verification to improve accuracy of estimates.
 * Present findings in technical and program reviews.
 * Regular and close interaction with other groups and departments to gather needed information and communicate status.
