You will design manufacturing tests for new products and maintain manufacturing testing for existing products, including avionics, power electronics, and battery systems. To be successful in this role, you'll have the ability to design the test fixtures, test stations, and circuit hardware-along with the PC-based application software that drives them-to prove every unit meets its performance, quality, and regulatory requirements. You can expect a variety of opportunities ranging from products for cockpit displays, instruments and navigational references based on local and remote sensor inputs. Additional products include data conversion and storage, lithium battery management, AC and DC power conversion, and in-seat power solutions., * Design manufacturing tests for new products, including test fixtures, test stations, and the schematic and PCB design of fixture circuit hardware, driven primarily by C#/.NET application software (with embedded C where required) * Maintain and improve manufacturing testing for existing products, troubleshooting test failures, performing root cause analysis, and driving corrective actions to sustain quality, yield, and throughput * Participate in design-for-manufacture and design-for-test (DFM/DFT) reviews, performing test coverage and fault-coverage analysis to influence testability early in the design cycle * Build and troubleshoot hardware, including basic soldering, operation of test equipment, and daily work in both office and test lab environments * Create and document designs in required formats, including BOMs, ECOs, and work instructions ## Related Videos - [Testing .NET applications a Tool box for every developer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/704-testing-net-applications-a-tool-box-for-every-developer) - [Cyber Security: Small, and Large!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/259-cyber-security-small-and-large) - [Crypto-secure Data Management with In-Database Blockchain](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/632-crypto-secure-data-management-with-in-database-blockchain) - [Mutation Testing and Fuzzing in C#](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/703-mutation-testing-and-fuzzing-in-c) - [Are you still programming unit tests or already generating?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/722-are-you-still-programming-unit-tests-or-already-generating) - [More efficient software for more efficient microchips](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1164-more-efficient-software-for-more-efficient-microchips) ## Related Articles - [The 8 Best Code Testing Tools](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/402-the-8-best-code-testing-tools) - [How to create a test plan for software testing](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/56-how-to-create-a-test-plan-for-software-testing) - [Should senior developers refuse interview coding challenges?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/29-should-senior-developers-refuse-interview-coding-challenges) - [What is a Test Plan: Guide to Test Planning](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/191-what-is-a-test-plan-guide-to-test-planning) - [Top Characteristics of a Software Engineer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/166-top-characteristics-of-a-software-engineer) - [Integration And E2E Testing: Are They Complementary or Interchangeable?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/86-integration-and-e2e-testing-are-they-complementary-or-interchangeable)
