We encourage you to apply, even if you don't check all the boxes, and we look forward to reviewing your application! * Experience with numerical simulation techniques * Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps best practices * Familiarity with cloud deployment environments, like Kubernetes and virtual instances * Strong programming experience in both a high-level scripting language and a compiled systems language * Willingness to operate in novel technical domains * Knowledge of the Julia language * Experience with Software-in-the-Loop simulation * 10+ years' experience as a software engineer in a team environment * Fluency in statistical analysis * Familiarity with Linux systems administration and Docker containers * General familiarity with orbital satellite operations * An ideal candidate is an expert generalist software engineer who is as comfortable architecting and building reliable web services as they are delivering high-performance compute jobs * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Proven ability to collaborate with specialized experts to deliver complex, cross-functional products ## Description * Muon seeks a Staff Software Engineer to join our Simulation team * In this role, you will shape the architectural direction of our Simulation tools.
