## About the Role

* Degree-level qualification in Computer Science or related field, with Master's degree preferred
 * CISSP certification or equivalent recognised security credential
 * Proven experience designing and implementing security architectures in cloud and hybrid environments
 * Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, distributed systems and modern application architecture
 * Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS or GCP security services and controls
 * Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
 * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and secure development practices
 * Working knowledge of network security, including DMZ design and F5 load balancers
 * Experience with both Windows and Linux environments
 * Understanding of databases, data pipelines and data quality considerations
 * Awareness of SAP security (S/4HANA, ECC, RISE) or enterprise application security
 * Strong communication skills and experience working with stakeholders across technical and business functions
