## About the Role

+ Enrolled in a Bachelor or Master Degree program in physics, computer science, engineering or similar discipline.
 + Capable of writing computer programs for data processing and analysis. Experience in Python language.
 + Fluent in spoken and written English. German language is not required.
 + Strong communication skills and interest in working in a collaborative environment
 + Knowledge about analogue electronics and/or micro-controller programming would be an asset.

## Description

+ Development of software tools for analysis of measurement data from the photon diagnostic devices.
 + Support data analysis with the objective of characterizing the X-ray beam and calculate SASE spectral information based on the acquired data.
 + Support group with hardware and cable assembly.
 + Active participation in the commissioning and beamtimes with the photon diagnostics group.
 + Supporting various development activities in the photon diagnostics lab.
