The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated testing frameworks using Python. This role requires a strong understanding of testing best practices and the ability to lead a team of testers., * Previous experience with spacecraft/satellite test development and/or execution, hardware ownership (Responsible Engineer), or hardware qualification and/or acceptance testing. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. * Proven experience in test automation using Python. * Strong understanding of the software development life cycle and testing methodologies. * Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git). * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, etc.). * Experience with requirements verification. * Experience using Docker or containerized environments. * Experience with MATLAB, LabVIEW, C++. * Hands-on experience conducting tests in a lab setting. * Experience in a lead role or managing a test team. * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing. * Knowledge of performance testing and security testing. * Experience in agile development environments. * Holding a Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance if requested. ## Description * Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python. * Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to understand project and testing requirements. * Implement testing strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery. * Analyze test results, identify trends, and report findings to development teams. * Continuously improve test automation processes and frameworks. * Ensure robust test coverage across all application components. * Periodically supporting testing events on second shift., Applicants for employment at Blue Origin must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
