This person will help improve visibility, reduce manual work, troubleshoot system issues, and support business process automation across the organization., * Experience working with ERP, WMS, inventory, production, warehouse, supply chain, finance, or operational systems. * Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, filtering, views, data validation, query debugging, and troubleshooting reporting discrepancies. * Experience using SQL for business reporting, operational analysis, or data extraction. * Experience with Microsoft Excel and operational reporting. * Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools. * Ability to understand business processes and convert them into reporting logic, automation logic, or system requirements. * Strong troubleshooting, written communication, and verbal communication skills. Education/Training/Certifications: * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Travel Requirements: * Must be able to travel between all company warehouses and production sites as needed. Physical Requirements: * Ability to work in a warehouse and production environment. ## Description The Warehouse Systems Analyst plays a critical role to support and improve business systems, reporting, automation, and operational analytics across warehouse, production, shipping, receiving, inventory, finance, and supply chain operations. This role will act as a bridge between Operations, IT, Finance, Customer Service, Traffic, Warehouse, Production, Quality, Sourcing, and external technology vendors., ERP, WMS, and Operations Systems Support * Support day-to-day system usage across ERP, WMS, dock scheduling, inventory, production, receiving, shipping, and warehouse operations. * Work with systems such as Sage 100, Scanco WH100/MFG100, OpenDock dock management software, SharePoint, Power BI, SQL Server, and related operational platforms. * Troubleshoot issues related to receiving, shipping, production reporting, inventory movements, pallet IDs, lot tracking, warehouse scans, stock transfers, order fulfillment, and posting errors. * Support Scanco/WMS scanning workflows, including handheld transactions, pallet ID / LPN processes, barcode labels, rejected scans, and transaction error resolution. * Investigate and debug Scanco errors using SQL, ERP tables, transaction history, system logs, and reporting logic. SQL, SQL Server, EDW, and Reporting * Build, maintain, and troubleshoot SQL queries used for operational reporting, analytics, data validation, and exception monitoring. * Support the design and development of a company Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) using SQL Server or similar platforms. * Create SQL Server tables, views, stored procedures, staging tables, and reporting datasets to support business intelligence needs. * Use SQL to extract, join, clean, validate, and analyze ERP, WMS, production, warehouse, dock scheduling, finance, and supply chain data. * Debug reporting discrepancies by tracing data from source systems through SQL logic, staging tables, reporting layers, and dashboard outputs. * Use SQL for reporting on inventory availability, production performance, receiving activity, shipping schedules, warehouse transactions, raw material availability, finished goods planning, vendor performance, customer compliance, and quality holds/releases. Python Reporting and Automation * Build and maintain Python-based reporting scripts for data extraction, transformation, automation, validation, and file generation. * Automate recurring reports by pulling data from ERP/WMS systems, SQL Server, Excel files, SharePoint, APIs, and other business systems. * Use Python libraries such as pandas, openpyxl, pyodbc, requests, and similar tools for operational reporting automation. * Create automated Excel outputs, live reports, exception reports, audit files, and operational dashboards. * Monitor scheduled Python jobs, review logs, troubleshoot failures, and ensure reports refresh accurately and on time. OpenDock and Dock Management Support * Support the use and improvement of OpenDock dock management software for appointment scheduling, load planning, warehouse visibility, and dock coordination. * Build reporting and automation around dock appointments, inbound/outbound schedules, customer pickups, carrier appointments, and shipping readiness. * Connect dock scheduling data with ERP sales orders, shipping data, customer service data, and warehouse planning reports. * Improve communication between Customer Service, Traffic, Warehouse, and Shipping through better scheduling visibility and automated reporting. KPI Reporting and Operations Performance Analysis * Develop and maintain operational KPIs for warehouse, production, receiving, shipping, inventory, and supply chain functions. * Build reports and dashboards that measure shipping performance, receiving accuracy, production entry accuracy, warehouse transaction accuracy, inventory availability, rollovers, on-time appointments, load schedule adherence, raw material availability, vendor ASN/EDI compliance, and customer compliance requirements. * Analyze trends, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations to improve operations. * Partner with business leaders to define KPI logic, validate data accuracy, and improve decision-making. Business Process Automation and Digital Transformation * Identify manual, repetitive, or error-prone processes and recommend automation opportunities. * Build or support automation using Python, SQL, Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Forms, Power Automate, APIs, scheduled jobs, and related tools. * Create digital forms, inspection records, checklists, SharePoint lists, reporting workflows, and approval processes. * Reduce manual data entry, duplicate work, paper usage, and email-based communication through practical system improvements. * Document business requirements, process flows, data mappings, test cases, and user acceptance testing results. AI Agent and Emerging Technology Support * Assist in evaluating, testing, and implementing AI-enabled automation tools such as Supervity or similar AI agent platforms. * Support business use cases where AI agents may automate repetitive office or operational tasks. * Participate in evaluating AI agent solutions for accounts receivable and finance-related automation, including AR follow-up, customer communication support, invoice/payment status review, exception handling, report generation, and workflow monitoring. * Help ensure AI automation aligns with internal controls, approval workflows, data security, and business process requirements.
