## About the Role

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
 * 7 8 years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering or Database Administration.
 * Hands-on experience with one or more database platforms:

 * Oracle
 * Microsoft SQL Server
 * PostgreSQL
 * MySQL
 * Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server administration.
 * Experience with database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
 * Proficiency in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
 * Understanding of storage systems, networking fundamentals, and virtualization technologies.
 * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

 * Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
 * Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
 * Experience with infrastructure monitoring and logging tools.
 * Familiarity with automation, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
 * Database or cloud certifications are a plus.

## Description

* Administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise database environments.
 * Install, configure, upgrade, and patch database servers.
 * Perform database performance tuning, optimization, and capacity planning.
 * Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve database, server, and infrastructure-related issues.
 * Monitor database health, storage utilization, and system performance.
 * Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to support production environments.
 * Implement database security, user access controls, and compliance standards.
 * Support high availability, replication, clustering, and failover solutions.
 * Develop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and system configurations.
