## About the Role

* 5+ years of software development experience in a Microsoft technology environment
 * Recent experience in a Lead or Senior-level software engineering role with technical leadership responsibilities
 * Strong experience with C#, ASP.NET Core/.NET Core, and SQL Server
 * Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, such as Vue.js (preferred), React or Angular
 * Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and backend services
 * Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and tools such as Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
 * Strong understanding of Git workflows, including branching strategies and pull request reviews
 * Experience working in cloud environments such as Azure or AWS
 * Experience configuring &/or administrating CMS or Digital Experience Platforms such as Optimizely (preferred), Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Drupal, Umbraco, etc.
 * Strong understanding of application architecture, performance optimization, and scalable design principles
 * Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership skills
 * Candidate must be able to effectively communicate in English (written & verbal)
 * Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer

The base range for this contract position is $60.00 - $75.00 per hour, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

 * Guide architectural decisions and promote development best practices and coding standards
 * Support CI/CD pipeline development, deployment automation, and environment management
 * Contribute to modernization efforts, helping evolve the technology stack and development approach
 * Lead and support development within the Optimizely platform, including CMS customization, content modeling, integrations, and platform enhancements as the environment is established
 * Partner with business and product stakeholders to align Optimizely-driven solutions with broader application architecture and enterprise capabilities
 * Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability across systems
 * Mentor and support developers, fostering a strong engineering culture
 * Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution
